CORE CIRCLES
RESIDENT
Intention
Make this place a home, participate in the process of co-creation, building your own house and other features that will be adding to the beauty, functionality, and development of this land.
Structure
A circle of 8 core residents, committed to have their primary residence at Monte California as owners-partners-shareholders of Coração Luminoso.
Presently, we are open to 4 new partners (can be couples with ownership of the same share)
Financial collaboration
Corresponding to ownership as shareholder of Coração Luminoso (detailed information shared on documents available on Members section)
Rights
To build your own house according to architectural project which has been approved already in the first phase of presentation (plans available at Members page).
Costs are additional and paid individually, according to needs and desires for quality choices.
Participate at decision making processes by voting.
Responsibilities
Pay for construction costs of your own house, if you so decide to build.
Share cost of basic expenses of maintenance of the land and common properties.
Participation in one annual meeting of shareholders.
May rotate as a member in the Board of Directors.
TIME-SHARE
Intention
Support the development of this project, aligning with its values and potential, participate in the process of co-creation offering skills and/or suggestions as a visitor.
Structure
A circle of 4 investors, who will hold ownership as shareholders of Coração Luminoso and yet not be full-time residents.
Presently, we are open to 2 new partners (can be couples with ownership of the same share).
Financial collaboration
Corresponding to partial ownership as shareholder of Coração Luminoso. (detailed information shared on documents available on Members section)
Rights
Stay in one of the guest houses for 3 months/year.
Responsibilities
Share cost of basic expenses of maintenance of the land and common properties (except for monthly utilities) proportionally to percentage of share.
Participation in an annual meeting of shareholders.
May rotate as the Board of Directors.

BENEFACTOR
​Intention
Offer financial gifts from your generosity and alignment with what is proposed, wishing to see this place grow grounded in basic human principles of love, care for each other, true abundance.
Support connection with nature and regeneration of this area, making it more abundant with life from humans, to fauna, to flora, to all the elements in harmonious dance.​
Structure
A circle of generous beings, who can feel-see what this project is about at a human level, and are willing to offer their gifts and/or overflow.
Financial collaboration
Any amount you wish to offer will be received with gratefulness and be accounted as a Donation and used according to Coração Luminoso board of directors’ decision to support future development of the property, according to its own needs and timing.
This is a gift of love with nothing expected in return. There is no presumed return or profit.

We are grateful for all who may offer any amount of contribution, and will be glad to receive you as a guest, with a discount according to different conditions and spaces available.
Participation in events and retreats will receive a discount according to different levels of contributions.

VISITORS

GUESTS​
Intention
Be part of this community, spending time at Monte California while participating in events, visiting friends, or rejuvenating in a personal retreat.​​
Structure
A circle of collaborators who will support the development of this community with their visits and participation in events.
Financial collaboration
Onetime membership fee 8000 € valid for 5 years.
Rights
Receives 35% discount for rental of spaces within Monte California houses, facilities, camping, and/or events according to availability and current published costs.
Responsibility
Payment of one-time fee. Visiting at least one week a year, contributing with your presence and participation in gatherings and events, or simply enjoying being at the land.
VOLUNTEERS
Intention
Support the land as guardians, bringing your presence and collaboration while, caring for nature and what has been created. Work in exchange for extended stay in alignment with the development of the project.
Structure​
A circle of collaborators who are willing to volunteer their skills and presence, as guardians of the land.
Financial collaboration
There is no monetary exchange between parts. Before the beginning of collaboration, we will establish written agreements about work exchanged for accommodation and meals,
Conditions and more details will be discussed with each person depending on their time availability and skills, as well as, our needs and capacity to host.​
Rights
To live in the land according to pre-established agreements.
Responsibilities
Minimum stay is 4 weeks.
Activities may include planting trees, implementing Permaculture garden, building, carpentry, beautifying the land, collecting fruits, cooking, cleaning, care for the horses, pruning trees, watering plants, etc…
ALLIES
​
Magicians, Artists & Skilful Professionals
Intention
Offer your skills and presence with a 3-month minimum commitment to a specific task, in exchange for financial or bonus compensation by Coração Luminoso.
​Structure
These are collaborators committed in a mid/long-term basis to be part of this project, hired for their specific skills.
Financial agreements
Will be made at the beginning of the collaboration, and payments will be dealt individually, according to conditions, timing and skills.
An amount corresponding to rent of accommodation offered at Monte California, will be accounted in the negotiation of payment, unless the person will not be living at Monte California.
Rights
Live on the land in one of the guest rooms (unless the person is working online or lives nearby) and participate in events with a 10% discount from published costs.
Responsibilities
To be aligned with our values and intentions, reliable, and skilful with their presence, as pillars for the practical and energetic functioning of the land and spaces.
